Pastor Jason Bruns,

Pastor Jason Bruns is a Pastor at Evidence Church in Wichita, Ks.

He is the proud father of seven children and 8 grandchildren and more on the way!

He was gloriously saved in February of 2005-and has been faithfully serving the people of the Wellington Free Will Baptist Church since 2006. He was honored to be ordained in 2007.

He graduated in 2014 with a degree in Christian Counseling with over 2500 hours of practicum training in Biblical Counseling.

Pastor Jason was bi-vocational in the pastorate, and worked in the oilfields of Kansas from 1991-2018. In January of 2018 he went into full time ministry after selling his oilfield service company that he had previously owned for five years. He served the people of Wellington Free Will Baptist Church for 14 years as the associate pastor and director of counseling.

Pastor Jason knew he was called to preach six months after he was saved; and began preaching two months later. He knew he was called to be a Biblical Counselor in 2007 when he and his wife went to their first counseling appointment together.

Pastor Jason and Anna planted Evidence Church in Wichita Ks in April of 2021. 

Pastor Jason decided to start the ministry of “pastorbytes” because of a burden that he had to share biblical encouragement and understanding at no cost.

He believes that Jesus is the answer and the church community is crucial in the sanctification process.
